After passing through the slitss, the light falls on a screen 3.87m from the slits. The 5th bright spot due to two-slit interference is located 8.35cm from the center of the interference pattern. The light is traveling in the air throughout this process.
a) Calculate the wavelength of the light. Be careful of units!
b) Calculate the frequency of the light in oscillations/sec.
c) Based on your answer to (b), what is the time in seconds required for one oscillation of the light wave? Hint: Remember that the answer to (b) tells you how many oscillations occur during one second.
