A rectangular (20.0 cm x 55.0 cm) current loop carrying a current of 20.0 A was located with its plane parallel to a uniform 1.5 T magnetic field.

(a) Label the corners of the rectangle (a, b c, and d) and calculate the magnitude of the magnetic force on each side of the rectangular current loop

(b) Show the magnetic force direction on each side of the rectangle using appropriate symbols.

(c) What is the total force on the loop? Justify your answer.

(d) If you think that the rectangle will turn in the B-field, about what axis will it turn? Clearly indicate how it will turn.

(e) Calculate the torque on the loop.
