Regarding the viscosity measurement experiment, when balls of different radii are dropped

lighter and heavier have the same velocity

velocity is independent on the radius

heavier ball moves faster than lighter

lighter ball moves faster than heavier

Answer #1

Solution -

The density of ball is

As we have seen velocity is dependent on the radius ball.

From the formula, we see that velocity is directly proportional to the difference of the densities of the ball and fluid.

So we can see that the higher the density of the ball, the higher the mass, the higher the density difference.

The havier ball will move faster.
