(a) Two people are watching a live performance. Person A sits in the audience at the back of the hall 70.0 meters from the performer. Person B is watching 100 kilometers away on his television. Person B sits within 2 meters of the television set. Assuming there is no transmission delay, which person hears any given word from the performer first? Justify your answer. Note, a transmission delay is a delay in the microphone transmitting the signal. It does not mean the signal instantaneously reaches the TV that time needs to be calculated.

(b) How far away would person B have to be to hear the performance at the same time? This is asking how far the TV would have to be from the transmission point.
