A 10-Hz generator produces a peak emf of 40 V
Determine the emf at the following times: 0.025 s, 0.050 s, 0.075 s, and 0.100 s
When I tried the problem I answered with 40,0.063,-40,-0.127 but it says its wrong
Given:
f = 10 Hz
Vo = 40 V
= 2f = 2 (10) = 62.8 rad/s
or = 20
Therefore: general form is: V = Vo sin t
Hence: V = 40 sin(20t)
when t = 0.025
V = 40 sin (2*3.14* 10 *0.025)
( use Calculator in radains)
V = 40 Volts
V at t = 0.05 is
V = 40 sin ( 2*3.14* 10 * 0.05)
V = 0.063 Volts
at t = 0.075 secs
V = 40 sin ( 2*3.14 * 10 * 0.075)
V = -40 Volts
at t = 0.1 secs
V = 40 sin( 2*3.14 * 10 * 0.1)
V = -0.127 Volts
