When there are 3 polarized films, why doesn't the angle of a third polarized film account for the angle of the first polarized film? For example, if the first and second or second and third films differ by 90 degrees, there is no transmission. But if they are separated by a polarized film that is not the same angle as ony of them when they are perpendicular, there is transmission. Why?
