Problem: A boy is spinning a string with a piece of stone(mass=100 gm) attached at the end it in a vertical circle of radius 5m. What is the minimum velocity required to keep it in a circle i.e., in other words at velocity greater than what value will the stone fly off? Find the corresponding centripetal force at this point.

Answer: To keep the stone in the orbit, the weight of the stone must be equal to the cnetripetal force i.e.,
