In what ways are the equations for linear and angular momentum similar?

Linear momentum
P= MV , where M is mass of a body and V is its velocity.
Angular momentum
L= Iω , where I is moment of inertia and ω is angular velocity.
Linear momentum and angular momentum are similar since they both include terms which are analogy to each other
Moment of inertia I is the analogy of mass M in rotational motion amd angular velocity ω is the analogy of velocity V in rotational motion.
And also both momentum are related as
L = R×P
Where R is the radius of the rotational path.
