Answer #1

When water is unknown & your are suppose to treat it.For that you need to classify within waste water plant .

This can be done after waste water analysis.

To analysis unknown water. You need to take random samples of unknown water.

You can check cleanliness , hardness,BOD & COD of the waste water & amount of suspended solids ,chemicals present in it.

so after knowing this values you can easily decide about treatment in waste water plant.

there are no. of tests are available to know quality of water & conaining cantaminants .

for checking stability there is Methylene blue test

for dissolve oxygen there is Bottle Winkler Method.

& centrifuge method for suspended solid test.

you have to find sulge volume & density index to classify water.

I am diluting wastewater (ww) with creek water. Say I have an initial concentration of 10% wastewater in a bin. I have 1 liter wastewater and 9 liters creek water. I keep pouring 1 liter aliquots of creek water into this bin to further dilute. My trash bin only holds a volume of 50 liters, but I need to keep diluting. If I take out half of the total volume in my bin (to have only 25), but I keep...
