Answer #1

Simply tissue is a lightweight paper.

Tissue can be made from recycled paper pulp.

Tissue paper is produced on a paper machine that has a single large steam heated drying cylinder fitted with a hot air hood. The raw material is paper pulp .The yankee cylinder is sprayed with adhesives to make the paper stick .Creping is done by the yankee doctor blade that is scraping the dry paper off the cylinder surface .The crinkle is controlled by the strength of the adhesives ,geomentry of the doctor blade ,speed difference between the yankee and final section of paper machine and paper pulp characteristics .

Alternatives production

The highest water aborbing application are produced with a through air drying process.

This gives a bulky paper with high wet tensile strength and good water holding capacity .The TAD process uses about twice the energy compared with conventional drying of paper .

Select one application of tissue engineering on different types of tissues other than cartilage, bone and vascular. Define the properties of the tissue and explain what type of materials would be potential to use. How would you fabricate this scaffold? What would be possible techniques that you do in order to increase your scaffolds’ regeneration capacity? You should always consider the host response and immune rejection while designing your ideal scaffold. please with example thanks you

CLASS DISCUSSION TOPIC – MAKING PRODUCTION DECISIONS After our tour of demand, this week we learn about the foundations of the supply-side: costing. Let's start the discussion this week by thinking about the supply-side motivations for lowering prices as volume rises. What could account for that and how is it justified on the basis of MEc? Can you think of specific examples of it?

The rod is placed at the closest of the two possible positions and the bridge-oscillator separation, d is measured. The oscillator is turned on and the tension (F) in the string adjusted until resonance is observed (a standing wave of maximum amplitude). The number of nodes in the standing wave is recorded. To determine the mass per unit length of the string you need to plot a graph. What do you need to plot using the following data? d= 0.343...
