Brick:
Brick is of clay material, clay constitutes carbonaceous matter, it starts to burn out at about 200-350 °C to form hydrocarbons and a more carbonaceous residue. These carbonaceous residues further combusted to emit CO and CO2. It generally emits 10-12 % of CO2 of total flue gas.
Light concrete:
The emission of CO2 is similar to that of brick, but the latest technology is used where many materials like fly ash are being used where the CO2 is very less.
Natural stone:
Natural is considered as the greenest building material. The amount of CO2 emitted is very less compared to the above two. Though few materials like limestone is a high CO2 emitter.
As a conclusion, CO2 emission rates are in the order natural stone > light concrete > Brick
