Physical sensor of Wheatstone bridge: Many pressure, temperature and flow sensor are based resistive bridge concept used in pressure sensors. The physical changes such as pressure, temperatue and flow is reflected as strain which is measured as resistance change in Wheatstone bridge.

Pressure transducer with wheatsone bridge: Piezoelectric strain gauges:

Uses the piezoresistive effect of bonded or formed strain gauges to detect strain due to applied pressure, resistance increasing as pressure deforms the material. This change in resistance is converted to current and sent as signal to the controller.
