During water treatment process, if the untreated water contains organic matters such as plants or leaves & when it reacts with chlorine, it ll produce a group of four chemicals known as total trihalomethanes(TTHMs).

Aeration is one of the best way to remove TTHMs after they are formed. We can install an aeration system in the clearwell of the water treatment plant.

Working principle: In the spray type of aeration system, spray nozzles disperse water in small droplets which strips the TTHMs from the water.
