Why do you think Zn in FCC Cu has interdiffusion and N in Fe has interstitial diffusion?
Interstitial diffusion requires small impurity atoms to fit into interstices in the host. It is generally even faster than vacancy diffusion because bonding of interstitials to the surrounding atoms is normally weaker and there are many more interstitial sites than vacancy sites to jump to. N being small can occupy the interstitial space.
In case of Zn in FCC Cu the size of Zn is comparable to that of Cu and thus it cannot occupy interstitial sites and in case of impurities like this interdiffusion due to concentration gradient is the mechanism of diffusion.
