Occupational Safety & Health Administration have provided rules & regulation about labeling the container of hazardous material .OSHA is very strict about this rules of labeling container yet they have few exemptions on labeling .If the container is going to be use immidiately by one employee there is exemption for labeling container for such situations .As the container will be completely used by the same person within working period.

Also when container is use to transfer chemicals from huge containers to secondary containers there is exemption about this labeling rule of hazardous chemical container .

HazCom Standard dection is where no. of containers of similar chemical stored then its it exempted from labeling each container & it can comply with HazCom.
