difference between parameters and forcing function
- Parameters are constants which reflect the system’s properties (for example- mass (m), drag coefficient (Cd)) while forcing functions are external influences acting upon the system (for example- acceleration due to gravity (g)).
-The parameters used should be independent i.e parameters are fixed. For example, we know that drag on a sphere depends on the surface area and volume of the sphere but it is not necessary to include them in the list so we will use the drag coefficient which will not depend on volume and surface area.
