formlab materials require proper storage to maximize there shelf life .Light & temperature impact shelf or usable life significantly.Exposure to temperature or light can alter the chemical composition of resin.

towards the end of shelf lime the composition of resin changes & photoreactivity decreases

it may become vicous gelatineous substance at the end of shelf life or if resins are not stored with care.

this is the resean why resin turn into viscous gelatineous substance when left out in lab for several hours.

resins are photoreactive they react with florescent light .This results in change in composition & liquid resin becomes gel like substance.
