2. Study of Lava erupted from Mid Oceanic Ridge(MOR): MORs are a mountain system that is present below ocean waters. MORs allow erupt lava.This lava is used to study the melting of rocks.

3. Study of Plutonic rocks: Plutonic rocks are a type of rocks which are present inside earth crust.By excavating the crust geologists reach to these rocks and then study their characteristics.
