A chicken egg (m = 50g) and an ostrich egg (m = 3kg) were put into the boiling water at the same time, and the chicken egg was hardboiled after 5 min. How long will it take for the ostrich egg to be hardboiled? Assume their shape is sphere with same density.

I saw the same post but they have different answer. Can anyone enlighten me?

here we take volume of sphere.

so we have to take here

remember :

It looks like the assumption is being made that the time for the egg to cook is proportional to the square of the diameter.

Where p is the proportionality constant. Therefore

Tchicken=p*d^2chicken

Tostrich=p*d^2ostrich
