Q1)Among the following control mode, which one would you choose to control the level of a process
tank A. Manual B. P C. PI D. PID

Q2) Explain the purpose of the second tank in a non-interacting set up

Q3) In the cascade control set-up, which is the measured variable for the slave controller?

Q4) In cascade controller, which of the loop (inner or outer) is a feed-forward loop? Explain why?

Q5) For the non-interacting set-up with no controller, your tank level is settled after waiting for 47minutes. Then what is the time constant of the tank?

Q6)What is the difference between the transfer functions (connecting level in first tank and inputflow rate) for interacting and non-interacting set-up

Q7) Does the control action in a series PID controller change if you swap any two block? Explain your reasoning.

Q8) Name an In-Line control tuning technique

Q9) Identify the pole for integral mode? What does it signify?

Q10) For the non-interacting process, how can you reduce the value of time constant?

THANKYOUUU SO MUCH❤️

Answer #1

1) For the control of level in the tank P controller is used because little offset is tolerable. There fore option B

For dealing with remaining options let us see option C PI controller it is used when there is fast response like pressure vessel so pi control is used for pressure control.

Now option D PID controller is used when there is a slow loop like distillation column it is used for composition control.

Now option A manual control is used for closing and opening of any equipment but now a days all industries are using the various type of automatic controllers for accuracy and safety purpose.

Q1 - The number of adults (people greater than or equal to 15 years of age) that are considered officially unemployed (by government-calculated statistics) is typically different from (and usually less than) the number of adults actually without a job. This situation may arise because: i) The labor force (as calculated by government statistics) is inclusive only of adults who are either employed or actively seeking employment. ii) Full-time students, homemakers, and retirees are not considered part of the labor...
