Both streams are at 100oC when entering the combustion chamber. 80% of the propane is burned and 90% of the burned propane goes to CO2 and the remainder to CO. If the gases exit the combustion chamber at 1300oC what is the rate of heat production? (Note: All the species are gases. Use mean heat capacities or the first term of the cp expression for this problem)
