What would one use to find out how the atoms in a molecule are oriented in three-dimensional space?

Answer #1

we need to use QTAIM(quantum theory of atoms in molecules).electron density distribution of a molecule is the probability distribution which describes how electronic charge is distributed in 3D space.QTAIM is a model of of molecular electronic system where atoms and bonds of molecular structure are expressions of system's observable electron density distribution function.we can find the molecular structure by stationary points of electron density with the gradient path of probability density that originates and terminates at the point.

A hemoglobin molecule can carry one oxygen or one carbon monoxide molecule. Suppose that the two types of gases arrive at rates 1 and 2 and attach for an exponential amount of time with rates 3 and 4, respectively. Formulate a Markov chain model with state space {+, 0, −} where + denotes an attached oxygen molecule, − an attached carbon monoxide molecule, and 0 a free hemoglobin molecule and find the long-run fraction of time the hemoglobin molecule is...

Boron trifluoride, BF3, is a pungent colorless toxic gas. This molecule consist of three atoms fluorine (F see figure below) and a boron (B) atom all lying in one plane. Each fluorine atom is equidistant from the boron atom with a spacing of 1.30x10-10m. The distance between each fluorine atom is 2.26x10-10m. The mass of each fluorine atom is 3.15x10-26kg and the mass of the boron atom is 1.79x10-26kg. A) If this molecule rotates about an axis that is perpendicular...
