A natural gas mixture of methane (CH4) and ethane (C2H6) are used for the fuel source for generation of steam in a refinery plant. In this process,The gas stream mixture 1000kg/min having 70wt% CH4 and 30wt% C2H6 is burned with 100% excess air.Gas analysis shows that the CH4 and 85% C2H6 are completely burned into carbon dioxide , while 10% C2H6 is partially burned into carbon monoxide and the remaining C2H6 is unreacted. Assume the air stream feed to the furnace is having a composition of 21% mole oxygen and 79% nitrogen.Given the element molecular weight of C=12,H=1,O=16 and N=14.

a) By showing all the schoimetric equations for the fuel combustion, determine the thereotical amount of molar flow rate (kmol/min) of air used in combustion, the wet and dry analysis of stack of gases.

b)Calculate the concentration of CO in ppm based on the dry analysis.
