Yes, one of the most important aspect for recruiting a candidate is person-organisation fit as also aligned with the trait theory.

Person organization fit is the similarities of characteristics between an individual and the organization.

This concept is important to consider while performing the recruitment for a particular role. The person's values, attitude, working style and other traits, if are aligned with the company; then the person will be able to perform and be profitable for the organization easily.

This is a valid basis for hiring a candidate. Using the person organization fit, we are able to partially predict the attitude, commitment, intention to stay and performance of the employee while in the job.
