Employee engagement different from motivation in several
ways:
- Motivation is a general desire or willingness of someone to do
something and employee engagement is an active agreement to do
something for someone.
- Employee engagement can be impact positively or negatively but
motivation is only impact positively on the employee.
There are lot of example which shows the difference between both
of them:
- Employee have an emotional commitment to complete their work at

- Employees takes the initiative to start the task and project
(Motivation)
