Marketing Managers face a lot of ethical issues but let's here discuss one from a part of marketing i.e advertising

And the issue is untruthful.advertising, usually the violation is from customer's or competitor's side .

For e.g let's understand more by taking 2 examples

1) Advertising done in AXE (a deodramt brand) which stated angels falling from sky after smelling the deodrant is not up to the mark because its creating something more than the product can do.

2) One of the garniers advertisement states that their products remove 99.9% of pimple causing germs this statistics was wring and advertisement was banned in India

So marketing managers faces a lot of issues that's why they should proactively keep an eye on ethical.issues

1) Lack of trust

Trust is less as medicines and drugs are of vital importance than can even give you life or take it.Therefore consumers don't want to experiment at alland trust rarely.

2)Underinvestment in Digital Area

One of the consequences of this is that it gives an edge to other new entrants to become more effective.

3) Less flexibility to marketer in this industry

Other industries are not suject to laws like HIPAA (health insurance portavility and accounting act , here the information.is confidential.

4)Data Management

In a report " organizing healthcare marketing in digital age" , itsi been stated that 44% of organizations are not even prepared to use their CRM data in marketing campaigns

5)Metrics

Only some of the companies have started the use of metrics for branding & campaign success while in othe othe industries it's thought of a very vital importance

And the other parts include market structure is unusual and also the techniques are not used properly since in this industry marketing was not traditionally used.
