Delegation Leadership

Empowerment can be defined as granting of right power or authority to handle a particular situation.

Delegation is a process of assigning tasks to a particular group of people with authority and accountability for the outcome of the delegated one.

When an employee empowered the ownership is given to take decisions alongside with the manger providing a wide range of information.

When there is delegation a leader will state what has to be done, how it has to be completed, time deadlines etc.

The ownership lies with the individual who does the work.

The ownership still lies with the person who delegates.

Greater freedom at work.

Restricted freedom to act.

Empowerment encourage to provide opposite views as well
