• Leading by setting an example – This involves the leader making his/her hands dirty to set an example on how to achieve the objectives to the team.
• Inspiring and motivating the team
• Rewarding and recognizing the employees for their contribution towards the organization
• Helping the team by providing the required resources, support etc. to achieve the objectives
• Effective communication with the employees/team members

The indicators are important as they clearly highlight the alround capabilities that an effective leader should possess as he/she not only makes decisions but also leads a group.
