Answer #1

The key competitors in the smart home industry are Google Inc., Apple Inc., Amazon, Samsung, Best Buy, Philips, LG etc. are some of the competitors in the smart home industry. The companies are developing a range of products to help the buyers and users in managing the home environment like temperature with help thermostats and sensors. The companies have also developed well coordinated devices that save the energy and help the consumer to monitor the home even when they are away. The companies are trying to develop compatible devices so that they can be used with other company's products.

These factors are addressed or helped by MIS as the companies work on basis of artificial intelligence. The data is collected regarding the device usages and consumer behaviour to improve the performance of the devices and coordinate it with other devices. The data collected regarding the various uses and needs of consumers for smart homes are analysed and incorporated with those features in smart home devices.
