Physical resources are typically not sources of Sustainable competitive advantage as they require heavy investment in different equipments that should be bought for the organisation as well as it also requires plants and latest technologies in to the organisation which directly affects its overall sustainable approach.

For an example for manufacturing a sustainable and recyclable poly bag we have to invest in buying heavy machinery which is not sustainable by any means. This type of approach would definitely destroy the idea of being sustainable at a very large scale and affect the overall sustainability ratio of the organisation.
