Storytelling is important because people don’t care about the company or the product. Storytelling is much more effective than going through data or any kind of sales pitch. It connects people, and gets people engaged and interested. It gives a perspective to customers about the views expressed by other customers. Story gives a reason to people for listening. Whilst in midst of the stories you can pass on the numbers, facts and figures etc. easily, which makes it easier for them to recognize the importance and even remember it for future reference. Whether you are at a boardroom talking to your staff, or pitching to a prospect or putting content out there to the world, storytelling can bring your business alive. It can help you connect with your audience. The audience can relate it to their life and take decisions about the product almost immediately.
