Over the few years, most of the fashion retailers have begun to use RFID deployment on the day to day operations. The item level tagging can be done and used when the product or apparel are shipped, the details re written on the RFID tag by encoded with unique identification number (ID) and connect the tag with inventory management application or any software for the same. When an item (apparel) is sold, the tag should be removed with the help of RFID detacher which transmits the apparel ID to the software system in order to modify the inventory records. Also, the use of RFID system improves the operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. It also helps in shop floor, logistics or distribution management.
