The organization that I have been associated with is an Insurance company based in US headquartered in Milwaukee and is one of the biggest players in the industry. It has been 11 years I have been associated with the organization and is now a Project Manager in the organization which started from a fresher back in 2006 joined as a Software engineer. I believe that the organization actually has a very strong hierarchy which actually has helped the organization is taking decisions and communicating the decisions throughout the organizational levels and due to this the decisions are conveyed in an effective manner that helps the organization in setting up anything quickly. Any decision taken by the higher management flows to all the levels and to the final level which actually helps the organization and its employees, understand the requirements of the organization and their goals in the industry.

The managers are very much aware about their roles and each and every action in the organization is very much transparent and justified. There is no doubt in the fact that communication plays a very important role in leading and the managers who possess effective communication skills, things and processes becomes easy and convenient for them as they can convey exactly what they want to convey. My first manager was a stupendous communicator and had immense power to convince and manage employees, The culture of an organization is very much important and plays and important role in communication and depending upon the culture, the managers effectively conduct their communication plan.

Non Verbal communication is also a factor that constitutes around quite a huge percentage of the total communication and it is difficult to manage as understand in the gestures and body language of an employee and decipher what the employee needs to convey is actually difficult. Non Verbal communication should not be entertained in organizations as it is difficult and not considered as reference. Communication can actually resolve issues and miscommunication or gap in communication creates issues.
