The trade-offs which are involved in the decision to purchase an ERP software packages are the costs vs the benefits. The total cost includes the actual cost of the software, training and implementation costs, along with cost of integration, testing, data conversation, data analysis and salaries of employees. While benefits include faster access to data, the right way to collect and analyze data, how to respond to customer’s queries and various integrations and standardizations.
