Q!) The project that I selected is an implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP) system for a pharmaceutical company. The reasons for selecting the project is due to the might of the project, the complexity involved, the huge budget and the phase wise structured implemention using project management tools, techniques and accelerators.
Q2) The project belongs to implementation of IT systems to a Pharmaceutical client by understanding their supply chain and financial business requirements.
Q3) The project involves multiple phases, activities, resources to be staffed and huge budget. It involves planninga nd scheduling of resources, setting the deliverables, implementation of the capabilities and extended suppoort post implementation.
Q4) Yes, the project is constrained by performance, cost and schedule as business looks for a better performance at relatively lower costs and faster implementations.
Q5) The project portfolio which consists of multiple, tools, methods and accelrators, is critical to the project implementation strategy as these are used at various stages of the project to ensure it is completed in time with quality.
