What would you do if The project is 50% complete, and the marketing department changes its specifications.

Homework Answers

Answer #1

If the marketing department changes the specifications midway when the project is 50% done the following can be done to the half done project's raw material and in transit material produced:

1. Make some more innovation and develop a distinct product which is not at all present in the market.

2. Use the material in the production of some other material thereby reducing the loss.

3. Selling the half done produce to another company thereby minimizing losses.

4. Scrap the material in extreme scenarios to eliminate more losses and start afresh.

5. Try exporting the material to another location where the demand for the product is still the constant and no changes have been made by the marketing department.
