A mistake is an eroor committed without the knowledge of the person and this is very common in our day to day life where as misrepresentation is changing or hiding facts deliberately and with knowledge of the person. Th eline between mistake and misrepresentation sometimes becoems very thin as misrepresentation might be a mistake and a mistake can sometimes be done deliberately.

Innocent representation is when the person who gave wrong data does not know that it is wrong and assumes it to be the exact data while fraudulent misrepresentation is when a person deliberately changes the data to hide some kind of fraud . Fraudulent misrepresentation is highly punishable and is a dangerous crime.
