Lean sigma is a beneficial process which gives good outputs but has it's own problems like the requirements of professionals to take up the task and this might be a costly affair. This needs to be done only after performing the necessary analysis and the firm must be capable to handle the changes that comes witht his process. As this process focusses on cost reducing and improving the efficiency, the firm must be able to adapt to the changes immediateky and for this trained employees are essential. Hence all the industries cannot handle this process successfully. Industries which have large production capacity and have systematic structure with seperate departments and a planned supplychain are the best candidates for this approach as they can handle the task effectively without any problems. Generally large manufacturing industries come under this category.
