I say the "nature of goods" has only a minor role when determing mode(s) of transportation. Agree or disagree. Why?

I disagree with the above statement and the reasons are provided below:

1. According to me the nature of goods has a major role in deciding the modes of transportation.

2. The nature of goods can be perishable/ non perishable heavy/ light, luxury, normal goods etc.

3. Mode of transportation can be land, air, water transportations.

4. Based on the above types of goods the manufacturing organization select the mode of transportations.

5. For example for perishable good quick mode of transportation like air transportation can be used. For other consumer durables and luxury goods sea transportation can be used.
