Company Name, purpose and mission statement - Foreign Technologies Inc.

As a company Foreign Technologies Inc. plans to sell consumer electronics like television, refrigerators etc., gaming consoles, computer softwares, online services and electronic repairs which are of highest quality and match the customer demanded standards. We are a pioneer in designing and developing electronic products and have more than 40 yrs. of expertise in the domain. We plan to increase the reach of our products that are of highest quality, thereby, helping in serving are customers in an even better manner than ever before.

Products/Services Sold -

1. Television Sets, Refrigerators, Washing Machines, Hand Dryers, Dishwashers, Air Conditioners etc. of varying capacity and sizes. These can also be modified according to customer's specifications.

2. Gaming Consoles with 1.6 GHz., Octa Core CPU, 256 MB RAM, 16 GB of VRAM. The console is compatible with an external hard disk and therefore the memory can be expanded at will. An ethernet and a HDMI port will be provided.

3. Computer Softwares that help companies in managing their data and files better. We are into IT space for only about 4-5 rs. and we are building capabilities so as to serve our clients better. Our objective in this regard is to become capable enough to compete with the global leaders.

4. Online services - We provide online services like on-demand cloud computing to various entities, i.e. individuals and corporates and government. These services allow companies to have their own servers that have the specifications of a superfast computer. This helps companies in storing, managing and protecting their data.

5. Electronic Repairs - As pioneers in the electronic industry, we strive to make sure that all our products stand up to the best of their capabilities. To achieve that we also manufacture spare parts that can be used to continue work.

Target Market - Our target market would depend upon which product we are talking about:

1) Consumer Electronics - For most of such products, middle age woman (25-55 yrs.) form the primary target group. They are the ones who tend to make decisions regarding what all things need to be brought home.

2) Gaming Consoles - Primary TG for gaming consoles would children above the age of 10 yrs. going upto the age of 25 yrs., or till they pursue education. As the trend of adult gamers grow the TG can be revised and it can o upto 35-40 yrs.

3) Computer Software - Analytics, data mining and manufacturing companies that need to control tonnes of dat.

4) Online Services - Large, medium and small corporates that need the power of an external agency to manage their onlne presence,

5) Electronic Repairs - Mechanics and Repair workers. Men in the range of 25-60/65 yrs. of age.

Marketing Strategy - To begin with, the marketing of the products would primarily be through digital media so as to control the spend on marketing. As the demand increases and we see that a market is starting to build for our products, we plan to invest in TV commercial and print media.

Production/Operations Plan - A plan for each new product would consists of 5 stages:

1) Coming up with design and technology

2) Developing a prototype

3) Market testing

4) Refinement of product

5) Market Launch

All this should take no more than 14-18 months. Our aim is to come up with a new and improved product every 1/1.5 years.

Management Plan - Each product division would be headed by a divisional head, who would be having 3-5 product chiefs (depending upon the size of the division) to assist him. These would then be reported to by product managers of various products. Product managers would be reported to by engineers and workers.
