Procurement-it means buying goods and services in order to provide the necessities for the supply chain.

Logistics-it involves supply chain functions like controlling distribution, maintenance, and the replacement/ changing of personnel and materials.

Material management-it includes those activities that control the motion of substantial and physical materials throughout the supply chain. These activities include distribution, warehousing, and shipping. These activities govern the flow of tangible, physical materials through the supply chain
