Ans:- The health care is not avialble to everyone. So access to care is primarily focussed on providing health care policy to everyone through different payment options. Also to provide healthcare options to people from minority, having low income and suffering form disease.
Cost of care is contained by federal policies in USA. The cost of first hospital services and physician services are controlled by the healthcare policy.
Quality of care has increasing dramatically by new treatment methods and diagnostic tools. The funding has increased in healthcare research as well.
Each of the above mentioned critical issues impact my responsibilities as the healthcare administrator in following ways:-
a). The health administrator should look for options to provide affordable healthcare to financially weaker patients.
b). It is also important to provide cover to people who has earlier medical history. They derserve medical security more than others.
c). The cost of care must be analysed and kept adequtely with affordable margins. It is also imporatnt to note that the administrator must make policies which prevent healthcare sysytem to charge unnessary from patients or prescribing exrtra medical test just to increase the bills.
d). The ethical practices must be strong inside a heathcare organisation. It is imporatant to support patient in need and take care of them.
e). Quality of care plays a major role in treatment of any patient. The patients must be provided with best possible doctors, best possible test equipments and quality service inside the hospital.
f). The quality should also be monitored in maintaining standard operating procedure inside the healthcare organisation. Every indiviual should work according to certain prescibed rules and guidelines and avoid any kind of conflict with patients.
