answer-
The Concept of whistleblowing differs from person to person but in basic form it is an action or activity in which a person exposes the illegal and unethical activity happening inside the company to public or government agencies. If the situation happens to me where i becomes whistleblower then I have my own reasons to move forward. I consider wrong doers should be punished and handles by public or government agecies. I would blow the whistle if i find that There is Huge danger to masses or danger to nation's security.
For example- If i find that My company is trying to build a technology which could be used for terrorism and create violence in public then i would move forward with expose of this information to government agency because i does not want to work with such company and safe guard the public and country.
The basis of my reason always been Utilitarianism ethics in which action is ethical which produces greatest happiness to greatest number of people. My decision will safeguard investors, customers, society, government. also Government have whistleblowing protection programs in which my identity can be kept anonymous so that my career is not ruined.
