Does it take a village to solve problems like hunger? How effective can organizations such as the WFP be in solving world hunger without the suppoirt from other NGOs? Explain.
No, for a village alone it is not possible to solve problems like Hunger. It requires the support and guidance from various other bodies in implementing the corrective and preventive actions to overcome the problem. The WFP (World Food Programme) has a long experience in humanitarian actions in order to improve food scarcity and support vulnerable people. But, it is not possible for them to work alone. They require the support from other NGOs working in the area or nearby to help to implement and transform. The NGOs working in the area are much more aware about the acuteness of problem and what is the right course of actions to overcome the same. Example: A village in Africa having issue of hunger is well understood by NGOs working day in and out in that country.
Hence, it is very essential to collaborate and jointly work to tackle the problems
