Answer #1

Before even starting our life cycles, our parents hope for our well being and seek the blessing of God with holy wishes pouring all around from the relatives and acquaintances. Since the day of our birth, our identity is reflected in the reflection and faiths of our parents and families. The reason religious faith is the starting point of our personality traits is the things surrounded all around us. Our family, whose most of the values have deep roots from the religion are transferred into the next generation by daily communications and way of living. The religion is not just a faith in Christianism, Hinduism, Muslim, or any other religion, but it is the way of living a life and the intermediate process to learn how to do it in a right way. The religion provides us with the basic wireframe of our society, our neighbours, our relations, our work and most things in our life.

Entire life journey can be connected with the success and failures and the journey between these two pillars of our life. During the time of our failures, we wish or have a hope that this too shall pass and we will have good days. These hopes provide us strength, motive and needed encouragement to fight the difficulties of our time. Through the glasses of religion, we seek a way to channel our faith and beliefs on ourselves. During the time of our success, we thank people, who have been the part of our journey, who have been the reason, who have been the messengers of success. To thank, to appreciate, to oblige are few of the paths we take to feel ourselves connected with each other. The religion and similarities among us brings us together and help us to relate our thinking with others.

As in the era of industrialization and modernism, people started seeking out meaning in the physical world, justification and rationalization in the science around us, but the difficult times such as the financial crisis of 2008, when every logic and explanations fail, people tend to go back to their basic introspective world of thinking that all started with faith and believe. The core criteria of the root on which the society is based on the faith and belief of doing good to each other and the living and non-living around us. Faith, work and personal ethics are the factors of the dependencies in this corporate world. Every person has their own different set of goals and aims in their life, but the ultimate objective is to be successful. The importance of ethics and morale are widely accepted in this corporate world.

The religion ethics and the rationality is constrained by several modernistic approaches that these two are independent and they cannot be the cause and effect of each other. However, the approach used by modern thinkers fails to understand the fact that religion is the start of rational thinking and ethical practices. The religion focuses on what is good for everyone, not for any personal benefit, but mutual and distributive benefits of the society. The fact that enlightens people of what is now termed as work ethics and morale are the after theories and realization of how the faith in the religion has put this belief in the society at the first place itself.

Therefore, the religious faiths have deep values of our personality formation and approach of living our lives which ultimately defines our social and personal identity.
