“Greed, for lack of a better word, is good,” (Wall Street, 1987). Is greed good or bad? What pressures do corporations succumb to that lead to greediness?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

I believe, greed is good, as it gives motivation to a person or the organization to give more than 100% to achieve that greed. And, greed is not necessarily only about the greed of money, it can be anything, like greed of power, greed of being the leader or greed of making the name. Being the best in the trade, to get maximum share in market, to expand business, to get more and more customers and to make more money are some of the pressures due to which corporations succumb to that lead to greediness.
