Answer #1

We were developing a new system i.e. STUDENT INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM in which staffing process was involved, my job was to recruit suitable candidates as per their job roles, handle their initial trainings an orientation programs and finally make them hit the floor and make them work in the organization for which the project was being developed. I had to hire for 2 departments and the staffing process went on quickly but many areas were there which actually required improvement such as:

  • The initial training program was not channelized and a proper documented training material was not there which resulted in a lot of confusion and finally inadequate training.
  • The entire work was being done on excel, there should have been a tool or a software using which the work should have been done.
  • The recruitment should have been targeted so that a lot of tie could have been saved.

Think back to when you were a kid riding in the backseat of the car. Maybe you once had a milkshake in your hand when your mom hit the brakes. You were secured by your seat belt, but you jerked forward and the milkshake splashed all over the front seat…and your mom. That situation probably never happened to you. But think about something that has happened to you physically—a fall, a jump, an accident, or something you may have done...
