Customer service level is the ability to meet the organisation's demand in an effecient timely manner. Inventory must be enough to provide high quality consumer service in the context of quality management. It's main objective is to provide a high customer service level. For a company to achieve high customer service level, quality management needs to maintain the inventory level irrespective of the forecast demands while maintaining customer service level. This can be done by using an inventory management system which allows the company to maintain the high quality level of product so that consumer demands are met.
