The article mainly talks about how the share value of Facebook rose again after Zuckerberg told the media that the social network had not seen any meaningful impact on the usage or ad sales due to the recent data privacy scandal. Due to the scandal, the share value dropped by 16% and many experts considered this as the right time to buy the Facebook shares. The scam caused a stir and many influential people and the companies tried to withdraw their connection with the company. The COO of the company Sheryl Sandberg assured the companies that they have a security system in place to take care of any threats. The research tool was able to access the personal information of 87 million users but this was against the user agreement as the company should take the consent of the user before accessing the information. Zuckerberg accepted the mistake but Sherly still thinks he is the best person to lead the company. During all these events the share value of the company increased by 2.4 percent at $158.83.
