Explanation:

Transportation perform an important role in growth of the business as always delayed service in transportation can tore image of company and also can affect business of company as well. Timely delivery can enhance business and business image of company. As per my experience at one FMCG company I am well aware that how much important is transportation for a company. They always use a MNC company service to transport their cargo to their international customer. This MNC Company has the very fleet of transportation that keep them on top position in their transportation business. As we know that how much famous is Maersk for their transportation of cargo shipment to different international locations. They are known to have best transportation system in world and most of business depends on them for timely and safe delivery of their products to customers.

Variables that affect transportation:

  • Human factors:

One of the most affecting factor of transportation is human itself as we all know that only human can drive vehicle and they often make delays in transportation with one or another issues sometime its human error or the mechanical like truck malfunction, vehicle accidents etc., With human involved in whole transportation and only dependence on human for transportation it could affect primarily and heavily.

  • Vehicle :

Sometime delays happens because of vehicles like traffic jams, mechanical faults in vehicle and slow speed of vehicle due to weight of goods or cargo. There could be many reason to delay in transportation as vehicle considered the main tool for transportation.

  • Speed:

Speed of the vehicle is also important in transportation and because of that shipment can be late. Suppose there is rush on road and there is slow movement of vehicle. Speed of vehicle can determine how fast delivery can could happen.

As per my experience the company was having the best transport route and it was best option to choose that MNC company for transportation as Maersk is the global company with reputation of timely delivery through its transportation system in whole world.
